Got out on my new tube for an afternoon session at Shelter Island. Started out sunny and windyyy! Bite was a little slow at first. Fish were only biting DEEEEPP in the docks. Had to switch to the spin rod with lighter line to get my bait to sink vertically into the structure and then i started getting em. Picked away 8 bass and a small slimestick in a couple hours. Nothing wide open just a steady pick on some quality fish. Didn't have anything under 12" and most were 13"+ and FAT!

Hot colors were bleeding trout and fong fish. Couldn't get a bite on the jig.

Unfortunately broke it off after a couple good fish  Switched up to the motor oil red flake big hammer with a red lead head. Last 30 minutes was pretty much wide open until i had to leave. Ended with 8 nice bass for a short little sesh. Biggest one was around 16.5" and close to 2lbs.
