KB Returns

Toadslayerz KB returned to San Diego in tip top form. We hit the lagoon for some bass and hali action. Water was super murky at the first spot so kept it moving. Eric broke off a nice fish under the bridge and Kiel broke a nice one off shortly after. Then tragedy strikes


Then Kiel got on the board with his first spottie in a couple months

Then we got into a little Hali flurry and landed 3 straight, 2 around 16" and one micro pancake.

Then the toads started to move in. As the sun started to drop we saw some bait scattering and some bass and hali's boiling. Started throwing the jerkbait and it was game on

Kiel spots a boil and casts his lucky craft right into the zone and sure enough........ Toaddd



Epic little sesh. Ended with about 15 bass, 4 halibut, 2 yellowfin croaker, and 1 stingray.

Did some Ninja bassin last night at Mansion pond. Started out slow until it hit the twilight hour. Started catchin them on senkos and crankbaits but i came to do one thing. Fish the frog. Tied on the River to Sea frog and first cast got exploded on! This happened for about 20 minutes but i couldn't seem to hook them. Tightened down the drag and finally started to stick a few. Ended with 6 fish around 1.5-2.5lbs and lost/farmed about 10 others. Still a fun afternoon/night. Here's some pics

It was Dan's first time tubing so he was stoked to get out there. Heres his first tube fish

Had to hit up the lagoon yesterday to see what was happening. Water was really nice but the wind made it kinda tough to fish. I still managed to do well and had about 5 bass and 2 halis.



Pulled out another nice legal too around 23.5"

Tight Lines 

Went fishing the last few days and caught some nice fish. Spinnerbaits, swimbaits, drop shot, jerkbaits, you name it, we caught em on it.
















Then this big guy decided to join the party. Inhaled the dropshot!






Oh yeah caught a few of these as bycatch
